This means that if you have 10 tasks to do, it will take you twice as long as if you had 5, and so on. Therefore, with more tasks being completed at a faster rate, it takes less time for each task.

The 4 Steps of the OODA loop
Similar to other problem-solving methods, the OODA Loop is an interactive, iterative process that entails repeating the cycle, observing and measuring results, reviewing and revising the initial decision, and advancing to the next step. While the process is not always simple or linear, the four separate steps involved are:

- Observe: The first step in the OODA Loop is to observe what’s going on in your environment. This step includes taking in as much information as possible from the surrounding environment. To do this, you need to gain a good understanding of what is happening around you and why. - Orient: The second step of the process is to orient yourself and decide how you want to act in response to what you’ve observed. This decision should be based on your goals and values. Your actions must be appropriate for the situation at hand, otherwise, you’ll waste time and energy on things that don’t matter.
- Decide: This step decides on an action plan or course of action based on what we have observed and understood in the first two stages. This is when you take action, prepare your response, identify potential threats, and engage your enemy/competitor. Be decisive in this step so that you can fully commit to what you’re doing.
- Act: Finally, act on this plan. After you have acted, go back to observing your environment again so that you can start another cycle with a new observation of what’s going on around you.
